iPhone 17 Pro Clear Case Leak Hints at Redesign and Tinted Options
Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 17 lineup on September 9, but leaks about accessories continue to surface. The latest comes from reliable leaker Majin Bu, who claims Apple’s Clear Case for iPhone 17 Pro will bring some unexpected changes.
Redesigned Clear Case with Strap Support
As expected, the updated Clear Case will support Apple’s new Crossbody Strap (and other lanyard-style accessories). Dual cutouts at the bottom of the case will make this possible.
Not Fully Clear Anymore

Unlike the current version, the new Clear Case reportedly won’t be completely transparent. Instead, it will feature a partially transparent design with a larger white MagSafe backing and a centered Apple logo for visual balance. For reference, this is the current iPhone 16 Pro Clear Case design:
Possible Tinted Versions
Apple has also tested tinted Clear Case options, though Majin Bu doesn’t expect them to launch immediately. These may instead appear later as seasonal or limited-edition accessories.
What to Expect at the Event
Apple’s “Awe dropping” event on September 9 will showcase:
- The iPhone 17 lineup (including the ultra-thin model)
- At least two new Apple Watches
- Possibly updated AirPods Pro
