Sketch Barcelona Update Released
Sketch has rolled out its second 2025 release, Barcelona (2025.2.1), bringing powerful new design tools and updated Apple libraries.
Liquid Glass Effects
A major highlight is the new glass effect, offering customizable controls for:
- Blur
- Distortion
- Depth
- Chromatic aberration
- Brightness
- Saturation
- Specular highlights
Designers can apply either a default frosted style or fine-tune each parameter.

- Concentric corners tool

Updated Apple UI Assets
The release also updates the Apple UI library with elements from macOS 26 and iOS 26.
