iOS 26 Beta 2 Brings Improved Control Center Design

Apple’s latest iOS 26 beta 2, released for developers, introduces a subtle but important change to the new Liquid Glass interface—specifically in the Control Center.
One of the key user complaints with the initial beta was the visibility of buttons against busy backgrounds. With beta 2, Apple has made Control Center buttons slightly more opaque, improving readability and usability without sacrificing the aesthetic of the glass-like design.
This small but impactful tweak helps refine the Liquid Glass experience, making it more accessible ahead of iOS 26’s public release this fall.
