Apple May Move the iPhone Logo Again with iPhone 17 Pro

A Familiar Change, Six Years Later

Apple is reportedly planning to reposition the Apple logo on the back of the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro — something it hasn’t done since the launch of the iPhone 11 in 2019. At that time, Apple centered the logo vertically for a cleaner, more balanced look. Now, six years later, that placement could be shifting again.

New Camera Bar Could Be the Reason

According to leaker Majin Bu, the iPhone 17 Pro will feature a redesigned rear camera system with a bar stretching across the top of the phone. This change could push the Apple logo lower, placing it beneath the new camera bar rather than in the device’s center.

Case Makers Already Adjusting

Interestingly, case manufacturers are reportedly adapting to the new layout. Some are even modifying MagSafe ring designs to ensure the repositioned logo remains visible. Majin Bu shared an illustration showing the updated placement, though Apple has yet to confirm anything.

Skepticism Remains

There’s no clear technical reason for Apple to move the logo, making the rumored change feel more cosmetic than necessary. While Majin Bu has a mixed track record, they were correct in leaking the iPhone 16 Pro’s “Desert Titanium” color — giving this rumor some weight.

Final Thoughts

As always, early leaks should be taken with caution. But if true, the iPhone 17 Pro could mark yet another shift in Apple’s iconic design language — subtle, but noticeable.
